Identities: one tab, one login
An identity keeps its own cookies, so every tab in it can be signed in to a different account than the tabs around it.
Create an identity
- Click the identity button at the left of the tab strip.
- Choose New identity and give it a name and a color.
- Open a tab in it and sign in as usual.
Identities stay signed in after you close Ghost Browser. Temporary identities forget everything when you close them.
Add a proxy
Open the identity’s settings and paste the proxy address. Every tab in that identity now browses through it, which helps when you test how a site looks from another region.
Share with your team
On a Team plan, choose Share on any workspace. Teammates with a seat see it on their next sign-in.
